Uh Oh A Cavity

Aiden and Ben had a dentist apt this morning. They both had one 6 months ago and both were perfect. We haven't changed anything about our routine and Aiden comes out with 7 cavities all in between his teeth and Ben comes out with gum disease because of his diabetes. What the heck!!! seriously, 7 Cavities. The kid is NOT going to handle getting those filled very well. He is deathly afraid of shots. I would use that in fact to get him to brush and it worked every time. We even freakin floss, apparently not good enough. I think he just got my crappy teeth. I get cavities no matter how much I floss, brush or use listerine. Family curse.

Take him to a pediatric dentist, they can have him so sedated he won't remember a thing, and do it all at once. then it won't be traumatic for him!

Oh, that's not family curse.. There are probably other reasons behind that. But it's pretty surprising that, even though you are doing the right things to have good teeth, you still get cavities. Hmm, it's probably because of your family diet. Just a suggestion: Check your recipes. And talk to your child. I hope all is good for now. Good luck! :)
