Hubby Tag

1. Where we met: Ben and I met on a blind date that my cousin, Bryson, his mom, and my mom set up. I never thought I would ever talk to him again cuz he didn't talk to me. I carried on a one way conversation. I randomly took a picture of him on our first date, thinking I would never see him again. I cherish that picture to this day.

2. How long we dated before we got hitched: We dated for 5 weeks and then we got engaged, and were married 10 weeks later (a total of 3 months).

3. How long have we been married: We have been married for almost 6 years on February 28th.

4. What's my favorite feature about him: My absolute favorite feature about him is his beautiful blue eyes. My kids got that from him. I also love his new buffer body. HOT!

5. What's my favorite quality about him: Ben is incredible. There are so many good qualities that I love about him. He is amazing with his hands. He is soooooo smart. I always ask him everything and he seems to know the answer. He is so smart with gadgets, computers and any high tech stuff. I love that he can fix anything. He is so musically talented. I love playing duets with him with the violin and flute. It is the best bonding experience for us.

6. What's his nickname for me: I call him baby, I know so original, but I don't really have a special nickname for him.

7. His favorite color: Green, but please don't wear it. He likes the bright Green and oranges.

8. His favorite food: Steak, Chinese, shrimp, and mountain dew (but can't have anymore)

9. His favorite sport: Ben is not really into any sport (one of the reasons I married him) just kidding. He doesn't ever watch it, but we both like to watch aiden play all.

10. Who said the L word first: Well, I think it was actually me kind of. We were watching a Disney movie in his parent's basement on Thanksgiving after we had met only 3 weeks (I know fast). He had spent Thanksgiving with me cuz he had to work the next day while his family went to St. George. After a lot of guts, I just whispered in his ear that I was falling in love with him. He whispered back in my ear the same thing. It took me a long time to actually say the "I love you" phrase. So he was the first to say that.

11. First kiss when and where: Our first kiss was probably our third date. We were at my apartment (not alone) that I shared with my sister. we were just talking about his mission and he was showing me mission pictures and listening to his favorite music. He just looked so cute sitting there... I was the bold one and kissed him first, otherwise I don't think he would have. He was way tooooooo quiet and shy. I think he was shocked a little that someone would kiss him first.

12. Favorite couple thing to do: We love to just spend time together. We love to sit and watch a movie together. It used to be to get away once a year, but that hasn't happened for 3 years..imagine when the kids came.

13. How many kids: 2 kids. one of each. Aiden and Brynlee.

14. His hidden talent: Both his thumbs are double jointed and it looks like you are breaking his thumb in half. Aiden loves to "break" daddy's finger. ohhhhh and he plays the violin. Not many people know that about him cuz of his appearance.

15. His age: 27

16. His favorite music: 80'S rock, metallica, aerosmith, megadeath, queensryche

17. What I admire most about him: His patience. I learn so much from him. He is the most patient man I have ever met (next to his dad). He is the best dad. He plays with Aiden for hours. He is so lucky to have a son that looks up to him so much and that is so much like him. I love his calming personality. He makes me laugh so much. Despite what people think, he can talk about random information and go off on it forever. I love that. He actually can talk my ear off. I know it is shocking.

18. His favorite pastimes: Reading, reading and reading is probably his favorite pastime. He also loves to play video games and more video games.

19. Will he read this: No he doesn't ever look at my blog. I wish he would though, it would probably brighten his day.

Baby Tag

1- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant? All of them have been in the bathroom with a pee stick in hand!

2- Who was with you? I was by myself with both Aiden, Brynlee and the two miscarriages.

3- How did you find out that you were pregnant?Pee sticks with all.

4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant?I was nervous and extremely excited with Aiden and Brynlee.

5- Your Husband's reaction?He was happy and surprised with Aiden.

6- Who was the first person you told? We told my mom first with Aiden (cuz we were living there) and Ben's family first with Brynlee.

7-Did you plan to get pregnant?We weren't really planning for Aiden at the time it happened, but were not preventing either. Brynlee was planned to the day.

8-Was everybody happy for you? They were so excited for both. Some thought we were playing a joke with Brynlee.

9- Did you go out and celebrate? We went out and celebrated with Aiden and with Brynlee I went and bought a shirt for aiden and made it say "I am going to be a big brother" to tell Ben. That was my celebration.

10- Did you want to find out the gender?Yes very baddly. But if we decide to have another one. We will NOT find out.

11-Did anyone throw you a baby shower?I had a shower for Aiden and with Brynlee people just gave me random gifts. It was really nice, cuz I had nothing.

12- Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you weren't going to put on your baby?No I loved everything. People always gave me stuff that I always wished I could dress my baby with.

13- How much weight did you gain? From the day I found out to birth: Aiden- 15 pounds total and Brynlee- 18 pounds total. I started out at totally different weights with both.

14- Did you loose all of the weight that you gained? I was fortunate and went home from the hospital weighing the exact same as before my pregnancy with Brynlee and with Aiden I went home weighing a healthy weight since I had started out at 87 pre-pregnancy.

15- Did you get a lot of stretch marks? None on my stomach at all, some on my hips but disappear when I am not pregnant and a ton on my now huge boobs. hehe

16- What did you crave the most? Aiden- Hot dogs, hamburgers..anything fatty. Brynlee- kraft mac and cheese and potatoes and gravy and hot dogs.

17- Who or what got on your nerves the most?Aiden- Trying to graduate college. Brynlee- I had no patience with Aiden most of the time. I was really moody.

18- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy?Aiden- Hydronephrosis, kidney stent, surgery, preterm labor, constant trips to the hospital and some hospital stays. Brynlee- Preterm labor and high blood pressure and some kidney stones, but nothing I couldn't handle. I could handle anything after Aiden.

18- Where were you when you went into labor? with Aiden I was in labor the whole time..it felt like, but he was an induction. Brynlee I was at home in Logan. Barely made it the hour drive

19- Did your water break?No with both..doctor did it. Brynlee my old doctor from when I was 16 broke my water. wierd.

20- Did you go early or late?Aiden 3 weeks early (37 weeks) Brynlee- 4 weeks early (36 weeks).

21- Who was in the room with you when you gave birth?Aiden- Ben, Mom, Dad, Mom hatch, doctor, 3 nurses. Brynlee- Ben, mom, doctor, nurse, med student. and me of course.

22- Was it video taped? My dad got the last part on our camera video without them knowing and brynlee was the same. THey didn't allow videos.

23- Did you have any drugs for the pain?Bring on the Epidural baby! Aiden's they had to give me extra stuff (morphine) cause he broke my tail bone (I felt it) and the epidural wore off quick. Brynlee- was a breeze.

24- What was your first reaction after giving birth? Aiden- relief, overwelmed and extreme joy. Brynlee- I could do that again that was so easy, and so excited to see my little girl. It didn't seem real.

25- How big was the baby(s)? Aiden- 6 pounds 6 ounces, 19.5 inches. Brynlee- 5 pounds 9 ounces, 19 inches.

26- Did your Husband cry?I don't think he really did with any of them.

27- What did you name the baby(s)?Aiden Benjamin and Brynlee Jane

28-Did the name have any significance to you?Benjamin for obvious reasons and Jane after my dad's mom who was my hero in life.

29-Does the baby's name fit? Yes I think so.

30- Did the baby(s) have any complications? Aiden- low blood sugar, jaundice, NICU for 3 days, eczema, reflux, gastrointeritis, asthma (6 months diagnosed). Brynlee- Jaundice, reflux, pre-SIDS apnea, allergic to formula.

31- How old is your baby today? Aiden- 3 years, 5 months. Brynlee- 7 months in 3 days.

32- When is the next one(s) coming?IF we have anymore probably in a couple years and that is a big IF.

.33- If you could would you do it all over again? Aiden's pregnancy and birth NOOOO!!! Brynlee's Yes! Her birth was soooooo easy. I could have done cartwheels down the hall after.

Brynlee Jane

Brynlee is now 6.5 months old. So hard to believe. She finally had her 6 month checkup last week. She now weighs 12 pounds and is still 24.75 inches long. She gained a little weight but didn't grow at all length wise. Her head is growing good though so that is a relief. She hates baby food and refuses to eat most of it. I have tried everything multiple times with no luck. How frustrating could this possibly get. The doctor said if she doesn't do better in a month then she will have to been seen again. What is he going to do about it? hehehe She just is a mama's girl and only likes my milk. One day at a time and maybe she will get a hang of this food thing and grow.
