My little boy is in 1st grade already. He is attending Clinton Elementary, which is not my first choice but we will try and make the best of it for now. Aiden likes it for the most part. The first day he hated it and I was worried, but it is getting better. He gets bored easy if he is not challenged and the review weeks of the beginning of school are rough for him.
Our weekend trip to the cabin was a blast. It wasn't long enough. I did not want to leave for once. Aiden learned to shoot a 22. He found a bunch of water snakes and was pretty bumed that he didn't find anymore frogs (must have gotten eaten). He danced by the fire, while making smores. It was also Kynzee's first time being in such a calming place. Love it :) It did take us 8 hours to get home instead of the normal 5. The joys of having young kids

For Aiden's birthday, he wanted to roast marshmellows and make s'mores. We had a blast.
Aiden came home to see this on the lawn. Grandma Teresa made it for him. He loved it.

Aiden wanted a spider cake. This is what I came up with. The top and head are covered with Oreo's to make it look hairy. The obsession with spiders continues...EWWW

All Aiden wanted for his birthday was an ipod touch. He loves to play on you tube and play games and watch movies. So Ben found this 16G for way cheap and this was the only thing he got from us. Bryn gave him Legos. He was soooo happy he couldn't stand himself. Since then, he has broken it 3 times and Ben has had to buy replacement parts to fix it. Oh well though. I know we spoil him.
