Happily Ever After

+

February 28, 2010 marks Ben and I's 7th anniversary. It has been a wonderful, trying 7 years together and I wouldn't change a moment of it for anything. Ben is the love of my life. I don't know what I would do with my life if I didn't have him. He loves me and our kids with all his heart and soul. Here are some of our engagement, bridals and wedding pictures. I hate our wedding pictures so I edited some of them, but I am glad I have them. Here are some things I love about him:
1. I love his smile
2. I love his gorgeous blue eyes
3. I love his patience
4. I love his dedication
5. I love his laid back personality
6. I love how smart he is
7. I love how strong he is
8. I love his dedication he has to his family
9. I love the way he loves his kids
10. I love the way he loves me

Super Star "mom this is herarious (hilarious)"

This is Aiden singing Avril Lavigne's "When Your Gone."
He asks to listen to this song every time we get in the car. Brynlee has now started chanting "song, song" as well. I personally am getting really sick of it, but it sure is darn cute how well he can sing the words.

Especially Me

I am such a lucky girl. This year Ben has been doing the 12 days of Valentines for me. It is both shocking and amazing. In the 7 years (at the end of the month) we have been married, I have done the 12 days of Valentines 3 times. If any of you know Ben, he is a very thoughtful person, but he doesn't have a romantic bone in his body (he will admit). He has made such an incredible effort this year to spice up our marriage. It really does make me happy to see the effort isn't just one-sided. I am so grateful for everything he does for me all time. He asks me at least 100 times a day if there is anything he can do for me. There is such love and compassion in his heart for me and his kids. WE are truly blessed to have him, especially ME.

Red Kiddies

Both Aiden and Brynlee wanted to wear red today. Brynlee is wearing her cousin, Lilie's shirt that is a size 6-12 months. I am glad it fit her because she threw a fit till I put it on her today. Maybe she secretly wanted to be just like her brother. You can't tell from the disgusted look on her face that totally says "Are you kidding me?"
I love my red bunnies.

Bed Buddies

This is what I woke up to this morning. Aiden decided to pay Brynlee a visit. He climbed in bed with her to play. He told me he was "bored" and needed a friend.

Oh My HAIR

She doesn't seem to thrilled about it either

Aiden's Prayer

I know that some of you have heard this story, but I thought I would post it for my own personal record because it was so hilarious.

I was driving with the kids to my mom's the other day and Aiden randomly asked me a weird question. Here is how the conversation went.

Aiden: Mom, when is Brynlee going to get a sister?
Me: (Stunned) I don't know.
Aiden: Well, when am I going to get a brother? I have been waiting a whole 6 years!
Me: (quietly laughing) I don't know. Maybe you should ask Heavenly Father that question.

5 minutes later

Aiden "AMEN"
Me: Amen to what?
Aiden: I just asked Heavenly Father for a sister and a brother.
Me: Oh my.

Yesterday I asked him when Heavenly Father was going to send him a brother and a sister. He said "next year."

Today: He asked me again. "When am I going to get a brother." I told him that he had said next year. He said "Well that's too long."
That was the end of our conversation. Good Grief!!!!

Just for everyone's information, another brother or a sister is NOT in the plan in the near future. Maybe "Next Year."

The Queen On Her Thrown

Brynlee decided she wanted to watch Tinkerbell for the 4th time just today. Aiden was playing a game so she decided Mommy and Daddy's room was the next best place to watch her movie. She planted herself on our bed and folded her arms and did this bouncy thing that she has done since birth. When the movie was over she yelled "Over, AGAIN, AGAIN" we decided a Tinkerbell story was better instead

Mommy's Checkup

Brynlee is giving Mommy a checkup on Saturday morning. I was given a clean bill of health.
